Re: Full Telestrat in Ebay

Oh, and btw I am quite sure that the Telestrat emulation is broken in Oricutron. Telestrat emulation is broken in current Oricutron. But it works here with the last version of the oricutron source code. If you want a working windows binary, you can get this binary in this zip archive : http://orix....

Re: Merging video output?

The chip takes 2 RGB sources and merges these 2 sources into one RGB signal. It's merged in real time. I don't know if the chip needs the same signal for the 2 input sources. For multicoloric card, you have a switch (manual), if this switch is off, it displays Oric normal screen, if this chip is on,...

Re: Merging video output?

Yes it's possible with a TEA5114 (It requires 12 V to work).

This chip is used in multicoloric graphic card.

Re: Development of Blake's 7 (was OASIS development)

Erm, I technically could but not sure I'd have time to... Jede volounteerd for me here  I began translating Mercenary III 12 (twelve) years ago and didn't finish it yet ^^. Same for Tyrann II, we began with Jim around 2001... I can confirm translations can be hell, with space contraints, a...

Re: Development of Blake's 7 (was OASIS development)

I was thinking about speed problems you had a while ago... Can't recall if it was related to sectors or tracks, but IIRC FloppyBuilder was much slower than a Sedoric disk... About "FloppyBuilder was much slower than a Sedoric disk", could you explain this ? FloppyBuilder must be quicker than sedori...

Re: Development of Blake's 7 (was OASIS development)

@Dbug  I knew you'd say that! Yep, it is surely possible to get more space with some code optimizations. As Symoon said, I will keep it just in case some bugs appear in the engine, but I wanted some opinions on possible additions. Does anybody think supporting joysticks is worth it? I am prett...

Re: Rambo/Tivoli Pirat

I was sure that this code could be optimized when i did the disassembly of this code.

Anyway, if you do an osdk tool to generate music like this one let me know :) and a faster player :)

Re: Assembler / disassembler

I used frasm, xa, ca65. XA is the best solution (for syntax, preprocessor, etc). ca65 is good too, but, XA is the best assembler. Dbug is the maintainer of XA in OSDK. It means that there is updates, bug corrections. The only tool, i don't use in OSDK, is the compiler. Oric's coder use mainly XA. It...

About Rambo, there is no IRQ, it reads the data at 100% cpu time.

For information, touch tool for Orix had been released yesterday : https://www.oric.org/software/touch-2402.html
