Re: Searching for Krystal Worlds (edited by OUM)

Yes, sorry for not clarifying. The Quill was a brilliant adventure-writing system. A fantastic bit of software, later eclipsed on other micros by GAC Graphic Adventure Creator, as The Quill was text only.

The scam one I got was from live.co.uk
Ah.... looks like the scammer has got access to two accounts then, or is simply spoofing the sender addy. I haven't received anything from the live addy.

Re: Searching for Krystal Worlds (edited by OUM)

Sorry, guys, I have no copies. KW1 was Quilled, so perhaps not portable to disk or emulator? I don't think I've ever seen an Oric Quilled game make it to a non-tape format, but I could be wrong there...

Re: John S. Sinclair on Oric.org

Ah - well remembered. I'm pretty sure there was an Ian, as well. I can't find my interview with John to check what he said. I think he mentioned the team behind IJK. Maybe Ian was in the office? I remember there being an Ian too... IJK... at least, that's what my memory is telling me. Zorgon's Reve...

Re: Emails from Dave D...

Yep, some scamming scumbag is pretending to be Dave, on the hunt for wonga. It's a copy/paste scam e-mail that appears all over the net. I won't post Dave's real e-mail addy here but it's NOT currently a hotmail.com addy, so if you receive anything asking for money, or claiming that a family member ...

Emails from Dave D...

I think Dave D's email might have been hacked, or someone is pretending to be him.... until further notice be very careful of any e-mails from 'him' via any hotmail.com address. His usual e-mail is a live.co.uk address. I am trying to reach Dave to confirm.

Re: ZX Vega: the Spectrum's return

I just read ComputerActive's review of this machine - not very flattering. Seems a potentially fun machine is let down by clumsy design.

Re: FGC company history ?

Wasn't this the same company also named HGC? They changed name from HGC to FGC or vice versa, if I'm remembering them correctly. The H stood for Home, instead of F for Financial. Also released Bucaneer, Fly For Your Life, Maze Rally and others. Or have I just made all that up? My memory is a little ...

Re: Oricium feedback and review thread

Ah..... this is very impressive. I will come back to this and spend more time playing. I never played Uridium, this game at first feel reminds me of Fireflash - the left/right flipping. I'm enjoying it.

eta: the tribute to Twilighte is touching.
