Re: Oric V23 Modem

Hi.

I think I have a copy of Oricomms on tape somewhere in my loft and I might also have the user guide or some sort of document that came with it.

If I get chance at the weekend, I'll have a look.

Alternative Micro Show

Hi,

Can anyone tell me when the Alternative Micro Show was held at the Stafford Showground?

I know it was sometime in the late 80's early 90's but can't remember the exact year.

Hi,

Just want to say a big thanks to Damien for taking up the challenge of continuing development of Oric Explorer, although I must apologise for the state of the source code

Haha.

The M6 near me isn't much better :-)

Re: John S. Sinclair on Oric.org

Don't have any particular questions but would be interesting to hear about the evolution of the Xenon series of games from Xenon 1, Zorgons' Revenge thru to Xenon III from both a general perspective as well as a technical one.

Re: English Translation of HyperBasic need

I tried running Oricutron as a Telestrat but couldn't get it to run either.

Not tried Euphoric yet as I'm in work.

Re: Tape Header Format

Back in the days when I had a real Oric Atmos, I always thought that it would have been better if the tape header was always saved in SLOW format with a flag in the header to say whether the main program/data was FAST or SLOW format. That way when using CLOAD the ',S' parameter wouldn't be needed.

Hi,

Just to let you all know, the Screenshots page on the Oric Explorer website has been updated with some new images to show the changes that have been made from the previous version.
