Re: Oric SD Drive in production

So it happens that I am the author (BOBY) of this particular contraption :-D It is great that someone who has developed things for our Oric pops out from the blue like this! :D Thanks for your contribution to this community and I am really glad to meet you here! Furthermore in the last few days I w...

Re: new with oric atmos

Hey, nice to see you around here, Miguel. So you could not load software using audio? PM me here or in RetroWiki if you want help! En la lengua de Cervantes, me alegro de verte por aquí. Me extraña que no hayas podido cargar nada por audio... El oric es un poco picajoso para eso, pero deberías de po...

Re: FloppyBuilder evolution

Sounds really interesting, but I did not understand everything :) You say it boots in 8D, but what does 'the image need to be stripped to plain sector data' mean? Is it that the same image won't work for the three operating systems? Also the limitation in size is really stringent... Why only 140Kb o...

Re: Key presses not working in games

I have been thinking about your issue, and could not imagine why you are experiencing this at all. I guess the keyboard works in the OS or BASIC, and sound works too, and it only fails on some games. Does it happen if you load the game from a tape too? At first I thought it could be some issue with ...

Re: GlobalGameJam 2018

Ah those are the typical symptoms of a stomach virus. Get well soon.

I left you a Hello message in the chat but I don't know if you ever saw it ;)

It's a pity, I would have loved to see you develop a game live! I don't know how you are so creative as to design a game in just a few minutes.

Re: GlobalGameJam 2018

I watched part of your streaming, Dbug. Some live, some not, and I enjoyed it very much. It's is very interesting watching you developing and explaining things. Very recommendable. I could not understand what you said at moments, when people were shouting and laughing around, and not due to your Fre...

Re: Searching for "L'Oric a nu."

Great, thanks!

Even if it is in French (I can't read French, but can guess some parts of it), it contains a lot of useful information!

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Not "Small break" = "being idle for months", but "Small break" = "Rest a bit from programming until I find a new idea or challenge for a new game" I always take a small break between games. But there is something that I have to do: work with DBug in the new version of the disk routines for Flo...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Thanks for your kind words. I am glad that you liked the game, and to hear about others who also watched the series back then!

I am now going to take a small break, because I just don't know what I'll do next :)

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Yeah, it is great to see the Oric in today's magazines... when it was missing from them in its time :)

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

I have no idea about the section (which should be Homebrew), but I can assure the review exists. This pic was posted in the Spectrum4Ever Facebook Group.

The author of the post stated he thought it was a Spectrum game, but alas... no. It was on the Oric :)
