Re: CUmini - my Oric storage emulation project
There's a more complete list somewhere, but can't seem to find it, but there you go: https://wiki.defence-force.org/doku.php?id=oric:software:memory_maps#page_3_i_o You were probably referring to Seilebost's website, http://passionoric.free.fr/ And this page with page 3 addresses: http://passionori...

Re: French to English Translation
Some of those programs are already rather hard to find in French (Detective Story, Mission Impossible). For the French doing tape transfers, the English versions can be even harder to find. Sometimes even common tapes in UK can't be found in France (I've been looking for the Italian language course ...

Re: French to English Translation
Nice one about Hare and Tortoise, hadn't spotted this one. Yes indeed it was licensed. We had begun translating Amnukor yeaaaars ago with Jim Groom, but as many projects, it has stalled and we forgot it. As for Oric.org, it has never been clearly defined what defines an entry (pretty complicated act...

Re: French to English Translation
Thanks for the list!
Actually, there's one hidden intruder in those English versions: Tyrann, which in French is a Norsoft game

Re: Loading tape games from disk
Do you have a link to the latest sources for Novalight? Nope, the ZIP file with "sources" is somewhere on the forum... I wanted to carry on but it's put aside for now. Anyway, here's the end of the code, ROM 1.1 or 1.0 compatible. Actually it loads the program with TAP header like on Atmo...

Re: Loading tape games from disk
This version does not suffer from the "it does not all fit into memory", but I'm not quite sure how to do the "fake CLOAD" and then the "fake RUN" on a BASIC program. Maybe the Novalight source can help a bit there for the "fake RUN", since it does load (but ...

Re: Oric.org updates
At the moment I'm manily focusing on the transfers I've done, sometimes 15-18 years ago
I'd have months of work just for that!

Re: Oric.org updates
Updated tonight (from original tapes):
- Orthocrack 1 (everything)
- Orthocrack 2 (everything)
- Orthocrack 3 (everything + replaced the existing TAP full of bugs)
Not the most exciting software but heh, now it's shared.
