Re: Key presses not working in games

Ah, that's what I really hate with those compilations that download everything and don't say a word about their sources.

It simply sounds like the disk files you guys are using are from Dom's page with his PASE joystick adaptated games:

Re: Progress bar loading

Thanks ;)
Dom suggested the idea of making a ROM adding this. Why not, but what should be removed from ROM 1.1 to add the code?

Re: Progress bar loading

Hey, thanks ISS for your help in making my messy programming more standard ;)
And sorry to everyone for my lack of motivation to learn coding properly...

Re: Progress bar loading

New update: Progress v1.3 doesn't crash anymore with ROM 1.0... Don't dream, you won't see the loading bar on Oric-1 (impossible with the way the tape routines are coded in ROM). But you can now put Progress before any recording: on Atmos you will see the loading bar, while on Oric-1 the program wil...

Re: Searching for "L'Oric a nu."

Even if it is in French (I can't read French, but can guess some parts of it), it contains a lot of useful information! It's a kind of bible to me, along with a few other ones. Great but not perfect, don't forget to report any new mistake you could spot in the dedicated thread ! :D http://forum.def...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

I am now going to take a small break, because I just don't know what I'll do next :) Did you mean "I am going to make tie break", a tennis game ? Well I suppose there are plenty of ideas (or others suggestions), but enjoy the break. What an achievement watching back all the different kind of ...

Re: FloppyBuilder evolution

Now I need to test in a real Jasmin drive, but I don't have one... Anyone willing to do the test for me? If he ever has time, I think Jede is your best luck (now is that denouncing a friend? ) Last time I plugged my Jasmin 2, it didn't work and ended up smoking... Since then it's shelved ...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Gave the 1.1 a try, so far so good (ok, just the intro and the 1st room, I'm in the corridor  )

EDIT: episode 1 finished, all went fine! But of course, I played faster than the 1st time, and didn't try every action on every situation.

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Finally reached the end! (with a little extra explanations ;) ) As a player, it may feel a bit short, but this feeling certainly comes from the fact that there is no boring /artificially complicated /demotivating moment, which is a very good thing. As an Orician, I am amazed by the incredible work o...

Thanks for the pic Symoon! See? It is not that difficult :)
I realise I may not have have been very clear: I wasn't falling asleep because of the game, I was falling asleep before I got any chance to run it ;)

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Finally, found some coffee and played at finding coffee  Finished Episode 1, I'm saving Episode 2 for another spare moment ! Very nice work indeed, the rooms and cut scenes really have a brilliant design. As well as the private jokes about (4K I guess) Kong and Chema's 1337... The service room ...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread

Ok, I'm stuck too.
I found the disk, I got the emulator installed on the computer.
But each time I want to run the disk, I keep falling asleep, and having to run at work when I wake up.

Do you think I should start again from the point I was on holidays, and no travel so I can play?
