@DDBug, Oricutron on EEEPC & Linux: I got it to run on a EEEPC clone (a bad copy of it actually), with Linux as the OS. It was quite slow, but after a quick hack, tadaaa ! Full speed emulation... All fresh, waiting for you in the SVN repository of Oricutron.

Thanks a lot for the detailed answers :D

The Windows approach for the OSDK is fine, I think newcomers are more likely to feel at home that way. With the source code of the tools, I can setup my cross-development environment. I will publish my own setup on my homepage :wink:
