Re: CoCoMEM-512 for CoCo 3.

CoCoMEM-512 is based on SRAM, but with discreet logic for an easy repair, it consumes very little and scarcely it warms up on having been quite a technology C-MOS. It costs only 20 Eur. more shipping cost. There's only three of them left!!

Nice !
Maybe that could be done for the Oric computer and the Atmostrat project.
Perhaps you need a big 3D printer for print a case for Oric.

And now, box for the controller.

The same guy who designed the box for the AmpliBus, has designed a box for the controller and one disk drive. You can see the good work at: http://retrowiki.es/viewtopic.php?f=40& ... p200086115

Re: Convert a byte as hex string (to display on screen)

Indeed it is a nice piece of code! I never manage to make the correct comparisons or use of the decimal mode for these things. :) By the way you can also use a 16-byte table (4 bit value - ascii code) and even save a few more cycles. No need for comparisons nor additions. Not sure about total cycle...

Re: How to install a 3" floppy drive on a modern pc?

I have a Gotek with HxC firmware as drive A, and real 3.5" drive as drive B. Only convert .dsk files to .hfe and copy hfe to USB drive. On real Oric boot on hfe then use command BACKUP A TO B.
