Re: Clock Signal — an Oric emulator for macOS and Linux

Thanks for the small but very nice tool dsk2woz! I saw your announce on comp.sys.apple2 too :). It works well but ... back to Clock Signal - is currently Disk][ read-only or something with the write-protection switch is wrong? clk-writeprotect.jpg Attached archive contains DSK, NIB and WOZ images fo...

Re: Paste from clipboard problem

Yep, very bad OCR!
Attached is my version of the fixes (listing + tap).
Actually it the same as Chema's, but I'm posting it because I used exactly the same line number 2557 to add missing DATA - lucky coincidence ... :P

Re: Help with two Orics

IMO everything looks nice and nothing suspicious.
Are this tracks OK or it's because the low resolution of picture:

You can check also if the insulator under the 7905 is firmly placed and doesn't short tracks.

Re: Paste from clipboard problem

Bas2tap will do the job! Else Oricutron's copy and paste functions should work too. My two suggestions for you: - try the latest unofficial build from here: http://iss.sandacite.com/oricutron/ (you can choose 32 or 64 bit). - try to paste the listing in smaller parts i.e. select 20-30 lines copy/pas...

Re: Help with two Orics

Welcome, protek! I would start with the first one (which has sockets) - at least good text chars are visible. I tried my crystal ball but no insights... ;) Can you post pictures of the PCB and your power adapter (mainly its label with data about voltage and current). You measured 5V line and it's go...

Re: Orikai

The Orikai.exe is 32 bit, so you need the 32-bit dll. Try with the attached one.

EDIT: Unpack it in the same folder where Orikai.exe is stored.

Re: Experimental very fast tape loading

Quick news if I type HIRES:POKE#21F,0:CLOAD"" then voilier_std_1.1g.wav works! Of course the hires screen has 'Searching...' just like ROM v.1.0 error :). I'll check what exactly the routine 'PrintSearching' at $E57D do... BTW, both loaders (f16 and std) are exactly the same, right? EDIT: The only s...

Re: Oric Tshirts

About the logo I think it really looks very similar to the one you designed Chema, but the letter 'R' is kind a different.
Else for me the Oric Atmos picture is definitely this one: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oric_Atmos.

Re: Experimental very fast tape loading

(no other emulator that I know of accept such special WAV files + have a monitor) Oricutron accepts WAV's, has monitor+debugger and works with your latest ship_novalight_1.1g.zip . :) What is interesting voilier_F16_1.1g.wav works fine, but with voilier_std_1.1g.wav loading works by me only if I di...

Re: Microdisc in ebay

Yep, it's nice. The price still acceptable but who knows how high it can jump... One thing I really can recommend: the seller is very nice and correct! I already bough from her lot Oric stuff and everything is perfect, well packaged and send on time. Other interesting thing in her store is brand new...

Re: Clock Signal — an Oric emulator for macOS and Linux

I am intrigued, why do you want to convert from DSK to WOZ if the emulator can read both? The case is simple: I have already DSK image with some DOS3.3/8D-DOS software and this software needs to write back to the same image something in non-standard format (for instance a nibbelized bit stream but ...

Re: Clock Signal — an Oric emulator for macOS and Linux

Great! I've tested it and it seams to work (slower than real hardware but it's OK for now :)). BTW, WOZ format is good thing too, I've downloaded tons of images but I didn't find an actual converter DSK->WOZ, do you have such one? It would be perfect to have sources so I can compile and use it under...

Re: Pravetz 8D: loading tapes?

No hurry, take your time. :) Else the chip 1ЛБ00ШМ is equal to 74LS00 and it's on your PCB because you have ROM split in 2x8k PROMs (2x7864) by me it's only one PROM and the 74LS00 is not needed. I'll try to make my board as yours with the same PROMs and will check how tape loading is working. When ...
