Re: OSDK 1.9

If you could share somewhere ... I sent an e-mail with sprites and little demo - I took your e-mail address from your last message on comp.sys.oric :). About Ym2Mym - when I have something well working I will post details. Maybe It would be better to create new tool and leave Ym2Mym as is ... will ...

Re: OSDK 1.9

Thanks for the update. I rebuilt my Linux OSDK and everything seams to work fine. I'll check in detail the new FloppyBuilder asap. Recently I collected some ideas for improvements in: - PictConv - when used in char generator mode, to be able get more input files (sprites with different sizes), split...

Re: English Translation of HyperBasic need

Oricutron works as Telestrat by me without problem.
@ Steve M : If you can zip and post your Hyper-Basic rom images I'll try them immediately.

Re: OASIS development

No way, this pictures are from PhotoShop! ;) ... congrats it looks amazing. About the writing code - IMO, waiting S7 (NOT READY) is not correct, you should wait S0 (BUSY): __fdc_status_w lda FDC_status_register lsr bcs __fdc_status_w ; If S0 (BUSY) is not zero, wait asl and #$7c ; Chema changed the ...

Re: OASIS development

About your additional question: I think that read/write code will never work if IRQ's are enabled. The minimal part of code which have to run with disabled IRQ's is: php sei ldy #0 loop_write_sector lda FDC_drq bmi loop_write_sector lda (ptr_data),y sta FDC_data iny bne loop_write_sector plp Here I'...

Re: Oricutron and breakpoint

Try this: 1. compile last version of Oricutron from github sources. 2. in command line use full path to break-point file, i.e.: Linux: oricutron -r :/home/user/path/myprojectbp.txt Windows: oricutron -r :\myproject\mypath\myprojectbp.txt 3. put empty line at end of 'myprojectbp.txt' I really don't r...

Re: Error with too many #defines

This new defines are OK by me. One curious detail: Can you guess what is the maximum usable value for ANZDEF? It's exactly 89557  I used generated file with 100,000 defines and after some trial-and-error found this limit. If "#define ANZDEF 89558" the program exits with "Segmentation fault". ...

Re: Error with too many #defines

Did you miss it, or is it that it did not work for what you needed? Yes, you are right, there is "cpp.exe" in OSDK! cpp.exe -v GNU CPP version 2.8.1 (80386, BSD syntax) But now I recall the case... Because I'm using Linux and cpp's sources are missing in the svn, I found them (the same versi...

Re: Error with too many #defines

BTW, I love clear comments  The comments are clear in German  : "ANZDEF" = Anzahl der Defines = Number of defines "mal 14" = multiplication by 14 Else, as workaround I can recommend you to use C pre-processor before XA. I added permanently "cpp" to my OSDK toolchain and it's called by m...

Re: Oric 1 and Atmos - repair help needed - EDIT: Oric 1 wor

Attached are both sides of issue-4, because the "patch" which makes VIA not so hot has a capacitor on the component side (see red arrow). Else, I have 3x issue-4 without any modifications and they work well, so you decide... It's good idea to check ROM v.1.1 in issue-3 - this will confirm that it's ...

Re: Oric 1 and Atmos - repair help needed - EDIT: Oric 1 wor

Great indeed! Congratulation and it's highly probable, that Atmos has the same problem.
Actually it's very easy to burn the CPU when connecting some periphery in wrong way to the expansion port.
