Cool stuff - interesting conversion. The difference in speed is pretty obvious - but what's going on with the sound in the C version? To me it feels like the C version gets interrupted by sound more severely than the BASIC version .. maybe its just a perception problem since the C version is noticea...

Honestly, I am aghast at where this is going. Mode 2 looks binoculars huge... but all of them are just .. beyond the pale. I'm guessing though, there is going to need to be some nice new tooling set up for this .. pictconv is gonna need an update, for sure .. ;)

I would love to have EAD65C util itself, let alone docs for it .. so count it as an enthusiastic: yes from me.

Jaw-droppingly great progress! I can't wait to see what you'll do with it in terms of creative hi-res/hi-color modes .. man. Things like this make me wish Twilighte was still with us, I'm sure he'd be burning pixels like mad...

Very nice gameplay! It seems like all thats necessary is a little tweaking with the chars and you'll have made a pretty good game!

Ha, nice update! Its getting there .. and yeah, Symoon said, "Chopper Attack" .. basically all the mechanics are there, now you've got make a level editor. ;)
