I'm running it just fine on High Sierra, and Sierra before that - but I'm building from sources and running my own binary. So maybe its something with app bundle signing that is not working any more? Perhaps its time for an updated public release build that signs the bundle per the latest MacOS requ...

Been playing all afternoon.. but I'm stuck. Can't get through the service corridor, dunno who I'm supposed to give coffee to, and the guard is a good one .. well, enough for today maybe more tomorrow. GREAT game Chema!

Honestly, its such a thing of beauty to those of us who know what a Telestrat is, and as well the Microdisc, that I hope it gets put into someones hands who ends up *using* the thing and not just sitting on a shelf, appreciating value. Its easy for me to say, since I'm just a random Internet dude, but my 2¢ is that sound effects should be integral to the game environment, itself - i.e., yes, sounds shouldn't be superfluous, but indeed part of the action .. its another layer upon which to give the player hints about what to do. I will deactivate it pretty much immediately, so unless its essential to gameplay, I (disclaimer:personally) consider it superfluous, and thus: not worth the program memory/hassle?

I think you should try the idea of only using a small, short sound at the beginning of each sentence, to differentiate when one character starts talking and the other starts listening. This works pretty well - especially if the tones are different. All thats needed is there to be a different tone - ...

Thats going to get a bit annoying. Maybe there should just be a sound effect at the beginning of the sentence, for each character? Sort of a short, pulsed sound with different pitches for each character - only so we can tell the beginning of a new sentence, by a new character, and not necessarily he...
